Atlantic Glass & Mirror, a locally owned glass company serving Eastern North Carolina since 2001, has expanded its operations with a new location at 3613 Neuse Blvd. in New Bern, North Carolina. The expansion builds on the company's established presence in Morehead City and provides homeowners, businesses, and contractors throughout Craven County with additional access to glass installation, repair, and replacement services.
The new location is now open, extending the company's physical presence beyond its longtime Morehead City operation. Led by co-owners Dave Durand and Jake Gurney, Atlantic Glass & Mirror continues to serve customers throughout Carteret, Craven, and Onslow counties.
Building on 25 Years of Glass Service Experience
Founded in 2001, Atlantic Glass & Mirror has spent 25 years providing glass solutions for residential, commercial, automotive, and specialty applications. Its established Morehead City location at 4908 Bridges St Ext, Morehead City, NC 28557, remains an important part of the company's operations and its connection to customers throughout Carteret County and the Crystal Coast.
Custom shower doors and enclosures are among the company's primary specialties. Atlantic Glass & Mirror works with homeowners, builders, and contractors to measure and install custom shower glass, including frameless and semi-frameless designs tailored to individual bathroom layouts.
The company also provides residential window glass repair and replacement, custom mirrors, commercial storefront glass, and glass door installations. Additional services include automotive glass replacement, RV glass, and custom boat windshields.
"Our roots are in Morehead City, and we've spent many years building relationships with homeowners and businesses throughout the area," said Dave Durand, co-owner of Atlantic Glass & Mirror. "Opening a location in New Bern allows us to continue growing while making our services more accessible to customers in Craven County and the surrounding communities."
Expanding Glass Services in New Bern
The New Bern location provides another point of contact for customers seeking professional glass services, whether they are replacing damaged window glass, planning a bathroom renovation, or coordinating a commercial glass installation.
The expansion also allows Atlantic Glass & Mirror to strengthen its regional presence while maintaining the same range of services that has supported its Morehead City operations for more than two decades.
With locations in both cities, the company aims to accommodate a wider range of customer needs, from individual residential glass replacements to specialized commercial and custom glass projects.
